"As a child, I used the world around me to morph through different creative avenues: illustrated stories, paintings, drawings, writings, and building costumes. When societal and individual events left me emotionaly overwhelmed, I relied on the arts to cope in a positive manner. I remember a childhood summer, where I dedicated my time to writing and illustrating thirteen successive stories about a Magical World with Faeries. My parents still have those stories hidden somewhere...
I continued to pursue these paths independently into adulthood. I attended college (Corning Community College, Binghamton University, Mansfield University) for almost eight years in pursuit of a career I would love. In 2013, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology. I had plans to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of social emotion. It wasn't until I worked in a university research lab when I decided that I needed to return to my roots - for that is the work that I love to flow within.
I hope to share a vision based upon the foundations of compassion, conscious connection, and love through artwork. Many of these foundations are represented by animals, nature, transcendence, the cosmos and emotion. "
